We have tickets to see Go Diego Go this weekend at the Palace Theater. Plus, we'll talk about an Ohio high school that's going old school this year for prom.

Dino Does the Weather (05.13.08)
This morning, Dino filled the shoes of 10TV Meteorologist Mike Davis. We thought he did pretty well. Make sure to check back Friday, and vote for Dino as your favorite DJ Weatherman!
The annual Columbus Race for the Cure is this Saturday downtown. This morning, Miguel Perez - president of Susan G. Komen Columbus joined us to talk about the race, and his inspiration - his sister. For details on registration, follow the link below.
If you've missed the controversy at The Weather Channel lately, meteorologist Bob Stokes has been sued by another anchor under claims of sexual harrassment. Do you think it's alive in the workplace?
If you missed it Friday morning, Tabatha Stephens of Groveport was hauled around in A Supreme Limousine, pampered at Charles Penzone Spa, and catered dinner from Polaris Grill. All, while Stewie played mom for a day? And, she says Stewie still has a lot to learn.
The rate for a first-class postage stamp increased today. You now have to pay 42 cents for a stamp. But, we swiped some "forever" stamps over the weekend for you. But, to win, you had to pledge to listen to us "forever."
Dino will be trying his hand as a meteorologist tomorrow morning on 10TV News HD at 6:45. This morning, we chatted with Meteorologist Mike Davis, and he offered Dino some pointers. Tune in tomorrow morning to hear the fun live!
This morning, we announced our third grand prize of free gas and groceries for a year! Beth Richardson of Powell won't be paying at the pump or at the checkout for the next year! You still have a chance to win $500 a day, and free gas and groceries for a year....click here for details.
Shawn's Request: Donna Summer (05.12.08)
Shawn received the new Donna Summer single, Stamp Your Feet, in the mail last week. It was her one wish for Mother's Day...so this morning we granted it. We're not quite sure what we think.
Last week, our once Idol hopeful-turned Idol Expert Chris Bernheisel told us the bad news...his local FOX station wouldn't be sending him to be the red carpet reporter at the Idol finale. Last night though, Jimmy Kimmel offered him a spot on the red carpet to report for his show! We talked to Chris this morning.
The Ten Worst Gifts You Could Get Mom (05.08.08)
You owe your mom your very existence ... so don't screw it up when once a year you're supposed to get her a little token to say thanks. You know your mom best, so you should think about what a good gift for her would be ... and avoid the following, they're the worst gift ideas.
10. DVD box set of Angela Lansbury's Murder She Wrote Just because she's older than you, doesn't make her a fan of senior shows. And don't even think about Matlock DVDs.
9. Early Bird Dinner at the Local Buffet C'mon, it's only once a year. Go somewhere nice, cheapskate!
8. A floral bouquet that suspiciously matches a missing clump of flowers from the neighbor's yard. Flowers are a great idea. Exotic, expensive flowers. Not the ones mom looks out the window at while doing the dishes.
7. Botox Party Skip the poison, keep the party. Try something mom's a fan of, like wine tasting.
6. An entry form for TLC's What Not To Wear If you want to spiff up mom's style, take her shopping, in private and/or with a personal stylist. (Airing your dirty laundry on national television is not everyone's idea of a "gift.")
5. Re-gifted candles from Aunt Edna Recycling is good. But not at the expense of good taste. Buy mom those hiking boots she's had her eye on, or a National Parks Pass if she's committed to the environment.
4. Elastic waistband pants The "Mom Jeans" advertisement on Saturday Night Live is a joke; it's making fun of this kind of unflattering mom-semble.
3. A copy of The SouthBeach Diet Your mom would probably prefer surf lessons on an actual beach than a book on "getting thin." Mother's Day, like birthdays and holidays is for pampering not nagging.
2. Thigh Master or Ab Buster Mom's confidence won't soar because she can crush walnuts between her thighs, but she will be the belle of the ball if she knew how to mix drinks like a pro. Buy mom some cocktail master classes and watch her hosting skills shine.
Ed Begley Jr. (05.07.08)
The SWACO Emerald Awards are being held today at the Holiday Inn at Easton. Actor Ed Begley Jr., from TV's St. Elsewhere, who is known for his passion with the green initiative, is the guest speaker. He chatted with Dino & Shawn this morning about going green.
Last night's Idol featured music from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Idol Expert Chris Bernheisel joined us this morning with his recap of the show. His favorites for the week: David Cook and David Archuleta.
On TV: Chris tonight on Jimmy Kimmel at 11:05 on ABC 6 Listen:Idol Expert
Who's Smarter? Breast or Bottle Fed Babies? (05.07.08)
A new study published this week says that babies who are breast fed are smarter than those who are fed by the bottle. Dino was breast fed, while Stewie took the bottle. So, we decided to put them against each other in a battle of the wits. And, surprisingly, Stewie won!
We knew the economy was getting bad with high gas prices, and expensive groceries. But, it really hit home this week at Sunny 95 when we learned prices in our vending machine would all be increasing. This morning, we had a chance to ask the presidential candidates about that.

BritneySpears' sitcom career may not be over. The singer, who's gotten surprisingly positive reviews for her two appearances on How I Met Your Mother, could return next season for another go-round, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show's co-creator, Craig Thomas, tells the paper that last night's episode was written to leave the door open for the pop singer to return in the fall. He says, "She was better than the first time."
Ryan Seacrest is turning matchmaker -- as co-executive producer of an N-B-C reality show called Momma's Boys, which will hook up complacent men with the women who love them, all with the approval of their moms. The mothers will evaluate their potential daughters-in-law, as drama and hilarity -- and, no doubt, lots of embarrassment -- ensue. The unmarried Seacrest, a self-proclaimed momma's boy, says, "Anytime I make a decision either personally or professionally, I have to ask myself 'what would my mother say?'" Potential moms are encouraged to send their sons' C-Vs to NBCdatingshow@gmail.com.
It's official -- Jimmy Fallon will replace Conan O'Brien as the host of N-B-C's Late Night next year, when Conan replaces Jay Leno as host of the Tonight Show. The 33-year-old former Saturday Night Live Not Ready for Prime-Time Player says he's been ready for late night for decades. He said yesterday at a press conference, "In my kindergarten yearbook, they wrote 'Most Likely to Take Over for David Letterman.'" The drama now is where Leno, the perennial ratings leader, lands after he's forced out at the Tonight Show. Lorne Michaels, who will be the executive producer of Fallon's show, says, "Everyone wants Jay Leno to stay part of the N-B-C family. And that's a big part of what's going on now."
Kristi Yamaguchi regained the lead during last night's Dancing With the Stars by a single point. The Olympic skating champ took the top spot by performing a near-perfect tango and jive, which judge Bruno Tombioli called "delicious." The judges remarked that the injury suffered by Cristian de la Fuente a couple of weeks ago actually raised his game -- putting him second. Jason Taylor was two points out of the lead after putting in two solid performances with the foxtrot and paso doble. Marisa Jaret Winokur is at the bottom of the leader board again this week. Last week Marisa proved that it's anyone's game as the fans voted to keep her in the competition while giving the higher-scoring Mario the boot. Tonight one couple leaves the show and the remaining three move on to the finals next week.
