Thanks to a text from my dear friend Tommy last night, I stayed up way past my bedtime to catch Purple Rain on VH1! It brought back a flood of memories, and still made me smile as much as it did the first time I saw it! Prince is just amazingly talented. Movies that rock…*sigh* Do you have a favorite?

I had the best (and most interesting) eating experience at The Banana Leaf Cafe on Bethel Road yesterday! If you’re looking for adventurous dining, go hungry and try the Vegetarian Indian cuisine at this wonderful restaurant! Last night I was dining at a japanese steakhouse and a teenage couple were all over each other at our shared table. The boys mother did nothing, just rolled her eyes at me when I was looking in disgust as to say “these kids today”; I would have been in major trouble had I been sitting with my parents (and I ain’t talkin about holding hands or a peck on the mouth) if you’re gay, straight, adult or teen, I’m of the opinion it’s best left in private…your thoughts on PDA???

 (Graeters, Dairy Queen, Jeni’s, Velvet…) Where is your favorite place to dine? I have to admit I have a favorite from each place I mentioned…especially Jeni’s Thai Chili and Roasted Cherry and Goat Cheese ice creams…what’s your favorite “I can’t live without it” cool down flavor?

Last night was the perfect evening to be plopped on a patio with good friends! Couldn’t have asked for a better weather night; not too hot, not too cold! I was watching a talk show yesterday where a guy said that women who wear red lipstick are intimidating to men and that they (men) are more likely to not approach a gal wearing the crimson color! Really? We’re blaming red lipstick for lack of confidence these days? What do you think?
