Without a doubt, one of the most exciting nights EVER for me!!! What an amazing artist, on stage live and in person; I’ve always been an admirer of Mr. Mayer, and last night just made it even more so! Super nice guy

Yesterday, I couldn’t resist getting out to enjoy the spring like temperatures, so I joined a friend for a cocktail at Roadhouse 66 on E. Wilson Bridge Road in Worthington. I was turned on to the most flavorful and fattening food experience EVER! Chicken fried bacon with sausage gravy!! Before you turn your nose up my friends, let me just say,  you should experience this creamy and flavorful treat at least once! Go see it before it leaves the theater!! And see it in 3D…amazing movie!! LOVED IT!! From the elaborate costumes, to the stunning sets and acting, Alice In Wonderland was so much fun; and the fact that Tim Burton put his creepy but cool take on this story classic makes it even better, fresh and modern. Mia Wasikowska is a lovely grown up Alice, Anne Hathaway is almost ethereal playing the White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter is superb as the Red Queen and of course Johnny Depp is the only one who could play the brilliant Mad Hatter; add the list of Alice characters you expect, like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb, the Cheshire Cat (in stunning gray and electric blue) and the coolest smoking  Blue Caterpillar around, and you are gonna feel like you’ve been transported to “Underland” (as it’s called in the movie) yourself! Don’t miss Alice!!!

If you’re a fan of the Barenaked Ladies, you’re going to love their new single “You Run Away” from their new album “All In Good Time”; which hits stores on March 30th! BNL will take the stage live at The Palace Theater May 11th and you don’t want to miss this show, they’re excellent live!! Tickets are on sale now…enjoy!

One of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time! They really brought down the house

I have to admit that over the years, my taste for Mariah Carey’s sound has soured; while I was a fan “back in the day”, lately I’ve been able to take her or more, leave her. So when I set out to see her live at Value City Arena last night, I went full of cynical thoughts as to how she was going to perform, and more so, questioning would she actually sing live. Well, I’m her to say that Mariah Carey knocked my socks off! While I wasn’t so much impressed with her cheesy stage show, I was blown away by her voice. Mariah Carey can sing…and sing well. To hear her belt out those unbelievable high notes was absolutely amazing!! I’m so glad I went and will say I’m a changed woman when it comes to my thoughts about Mariah Careys talent. If you have an opportunity to see her live, take it, you’ll be glad you did.
